Silverudds Blå
Created in Sweden in the 1940s by Martin Silverudd, these medium sized hens are friendly and active and lay approximately 200 beautiful green eggs per year. Almost the only pure breed of chicken to lay green eggs, they can vary from a dark olive to light moss green and are often speckled. We imported the eggs directly from Sweden and keep both the splash and blue varieties. There are less than a handful of UK breeders (to our knowledge just us and a breeder in Scotland)
