FAQ's
Delivery and collection
Do you offer delivery?
Sorry but currently we do not offer delivery. All purchases must be picked up from our base in Kent.
Please note: Although our birds are usually collected, we can organise courier delivery if necessary. Obviously the more drop offs a courier can do in one area will reduce the delivery price so if you would like to order any of our birds for courier delivery make sure to tell your friends about us! To see if we can deliver to you call Kate on 07767 822575
Do you only offer pickup / collection for purchases from this store?

IMPORTANT: Please be sure to check that you have entered your contact details correctly at checkout. Please be sure to supply a valid and working email (or mobile phone number) when you checkout. This is how we will contact you to arrange collection of your purchase.
what do I need to bring with me when collecting my hens?
Please bring a secure box with you to transport your hens safely home. We can provide reusable cardboard pet carriers which accommodate 2/3 hens at a cost of £4 each
What preparations should I make before collecting my hens?
Before you collect your hens, please ensure that you have a safe area for them to live. Foxes are very good at finding hens and it can be devastating to lose your flock.

What should I feed my hens?
Please be aware that hens of different ages require different food. For chicks you will need chick crumbs, for growers you will need growers pellets and for Point of Lay or laying hybrids you will need layers pellets.
